Retiree Chapter Meeting Chapter meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month starting at 10:00 am. Chapter Bingo will be on the Third Thursday of each month this year at 10:00 am. No Bingo the month of July.

Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D) Posted 12/2/2006 It is important to note that the new Medicare prescription drug coverage is of greatest value to those without prescription drug coverage through an employer-based program or to those who have been identified by the government as being enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid or as being of limited income. Prescription drug coverage provided under the GM programs remains available to the Medicare enrollees and has been determined to be “creditable coverage”. In most cases it will be to GM Program enrollees’ advantage to forego enrollment in a MPDP for 2007 and to continue to rely on their GM coverage. Since the GM coverage is creditable coverage, you will not be penalized for not enrolling in the Medicare coverage at this time. |
